Losing our trousers to a good cause

Here at The John Kinch Group we have been losing our trousers to a good cause recently when we turned our disused denims into beguiling brooches.

All in aid of Jeans for Genes we raised £200.00 to help transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.

We have been a long-time supporter of the charity, but this year we wanted to do something really memorable. We played with different ideas, and then thought how amazing it would be if we could make some wearable fashion statements with our old jeans! So we got our discarded denims plus needles and thread, and then we flourished the scissors and got snipping and sewing.

The brooches were each swapped for a £3.50 donation to the charity which provides vital care and support to the estimated one in 25 children born each year with a genetic disorder.

We our thrilled with the support we received in our fundraising efforts and would like to thank everyone that helped and donated.
